WHAT IS A 341 MEETING:

A 341 meeting is a meeting with the Trustee to review your schedules. The 341 meeting is held at the Trustee's offices and not the courthouse. A judge will not be present. The trustee schedules about 6 per hour (10 minutes per case). He will ask you basic questions about your finances. It is not adversarial. He is looking for information about your finances to ensure that your bankruptcy information is accurate.

 


WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR 341 MEETING:

 

  • Driver's License (or other picture ID).
  • Social Security card (or something with your social security number).
  • 6 months of your most recent pay stubs.
  • Copies of titles to all vehicles, boats, recreational vehicles, mobile homes, etc...
  • Proof of Insurance for the vehicles or boats.
  • Copies of all Leases (if you have a leased vehicle).
  • Copy of the deed to any real estate owned**
  • Copy of the first page of your mortgage on any real estate **
    **copy from the Register of Deeds from the county where you reside with a Leiber and Page stamp.
  • A copy of your latest tax statement or other documentation showing the State Equalized Value of the property.

    Our office gathers the information before you file and sends it to the trustee.  If you have already provided the documents, then you only need to bring Driver’s License and Social Security Card.

In the event that the Trustee needs additional information, you will provide it to him at a later date.


NOTE: Pocket knifes and box cutters are not allowed in the building.
